What a busy month July turned out to be!!!

The Slim Whitman & Patsy Cline Show with my friend Ian B MacLeod, at Smithfield RSL turned out to be a HIT!

And the filming of my latest clip is now officially complete, keep checking in as it will be here on the site VERY SOON, I can't wait to share this clip with you, as this single is a song very close to my heart and I can tell you the clip is very personal to me, so I am really looking forward to sharing it with you all.

August is a very interesting month, leaving Patsy behind and taking to the stage in Canberra to pay tribute to Janis Joplin may be one of my biggest trials yet, in the "40th Anniversary Tribute to Woodstock".

So I will let the team fill you in on all the goss and details.

Slim Whitman & Patsy Cline Show takes Smithfield RSL by storm!!!!

An auditorium filled to capacity with "Slim & Patsy fans" was a dream come to for our girl and fellow entertainer Ian B.MacLeod this month, when they took the stage at Smithfield RSL Club.

The Slim Whitman & Patsy Cline show is fast becoming one of the most talked about musical tributes in the business!!!, Well done Victoria & Ian!

Guy The Sound Guy Presents the "Woodstock 40th Anniversary Tribute Concert"

We all know she’s a talented country gal, but Victoria is about to unleash her inner blues/rock chick for a one-off event – as a special guest at a tribute to the famous 1960s music festival, Woodstock.  Our girl has been asked to channel a bit of Janis Joplin for the gig, by singing some of Janis’ hits like “Piece of My Heart” and the classic singalong “Mercedes Benz”.

Victoria may not have been born when Woodstock happened, but she is really enjoying learning some great new songs and letting her hair down 60s style!  She’ll be teaming up with hot young blues guitarist Chris Harland (The Chris Harland Blues Band), Bob Rodgers (O’Neill & Rodgers), as well as sharing the stage in the “superjam” with other musos like alt.country lads The Wedded Bliss, The Lenders (big fans of "The Band") and more.

It’s a great chance for Canberra fans to get to see Victoria live on stage, and while there’s no doubt she’ll be a knockout as a rock chick, we know you can’t take the country out of the country girl.  Watch out for a great version of “Me and Bobby McGee.”

"This is such an exciting experience for me, I have learnt so much about Janis since working with her music for the "Woodstock Concert", I have so much respect for her as an artist now, she was truly amazing!, I can't wait to head to Canberra for this show, we have an amazing group of muso's on the bill, so the audience is in for a real treat, I think it will be an unforgettable night, for people to relive some of the most influential music of our time.
